Paul Callaghan, a British National, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London.
Paul has over 36 years of professional experience, including more than 30 years in Oman. Paul was previously Head of Financial Services, Head of Audit and a Partner at a Big 4 firm.
Paul has experience in providing a wide range of audit, corporate finance and advisory engagements to clients. He has extensive transactions and energy experience. Paul has moderated panels at leading global energy events and workshops.
Matt Banton
Partner and Head of Energy, Mining and Renewables, UK
Moore Kingston Smith
Matt Banton is a lead partner in Moore Kingston Smith’s Corporate Audit team. He is Head of the firm’s Energy, Mining and Renewables (EMR) group and is the UK’s representative partner on the Moore Global EMR Steering Committee.
Matt has an in-depth knowledge of and experience in the audit of large international groups. A particular area of his expertise is the audit of AIM and fully listed groups, where adherence to tight timeframes and technical detail is critical.
His extensive client portfolio includes those in the energy, mining & renewables, maritime and technology sectors.
