Moore Global looks to the future, appointing new sector leads

Moore Global, one of the world’s leading accountancy and advisory networks, has appointed three new global leaders to focus on growth areas for the organisation.  For the first time, a global lead for Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) has been appointed, signalling the firm’s strong commitment to these areas, and the growing importance that global financial communities are placing on broader business practices.

  • Global sector leader, Financial Services
Ewen Fleming, Johnston Carmichael

  • Global sector leader, Hotel and Leisure
Márton Takács, Moore Hungary

  • Global sector leader, Environment, Social & Governance
Mary Tressel, Practice Leader, ESG at Armanino LLP, California

The global leaders will work alongside the 233 member firms within Moore Global and will be responsible for driving sector growth across the network and identifying areas of collaboration to better deliver changing client needs.

Anton Colella, Global CEO of Moore Global commented: “As the global market changes, so too does the shape of our leadership team, as we focus on new areas of strength that will allow our member firms to better serve their clients.  Our aim to be the world’s most respected professional services firm means we must lead our global community towards greater innovation, collaboration, and strategic growth – and our leadership team are at the centre of achieving this.

“For the first time, we have appointed a global lead for ESG, recognising that purpose is now firmly embedded at the heart of modern business practice.  The way in which we do things is under increasing scrutiny, and ESG as a strategic pillar of organisational structure is not only more common - it’s essential.  By recognising this as part of our core leadership team, we will be able to better understand, advise and connect our clients as they grow more sustainable and resilient businesses.

“All of our new sector leaders are already proven experts in their fields, and I look forward to working closely with them to take their experience and expertise onto a global stage, helping both clients and colleagues to achieve new levels of success.”

The three new global sector leaders join others within the Moore Global network covering: Media & Entertainment; Energy, Mining & Renewables; Manufacturing & Distribution; Maritime; and Real Estate & Construction.  Global leaders identify areas for knowledge sharing, collaboration, training, and innovation, ensuring that the strengths of the Moore Global network are brought to life, and accessible to each and every client and employee.
