Treedom is the world’s first platform that allows you to plant a tree from a distance and follow the story of your project online. Since it was first launched in 2010, more than three million trees have been planted across Africa, South America and Asia. And they’re not just trees – each one also contributes to community development.
What makes Treedom special is their commitment to transparency and local impact. All trees are planted directly by local farmers, bringing environmental, social and financial benefits to their communities. Why we do it
We’ve decided to plant trees with Treedom because we want a greener, fairer world. Every single tree is planted, photographed and geolocated to demonstrate our commitment in the most transparent way possible. We’re planting various species of trees in different plants of the world – and you can name your tree and explore the communities involved, all through the Tree Diary, a digital space where you can see that even small gestures can have a big impact.
