Phillip is a director of Moore in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and is responsible for a portfolio of Auditing and Assurance clients ranging from sole proprietors to large private companies. He is also responsible for the technical and training function in the firm and is also a member of the SAICA Southern Region PEDA. Phillip has been involved with various forensic investigations in the Eastern Cape, relating to the fishing, education and mining industry. Phillip has further advised on the design of fraud prevention strategies and the implementation of developed internal control systems. Phillip has been involved with various public sector audit engagements in the Eastern Cape, governed by the Public Finance Management Act. He has been involved both at manager level as well as at engagement partner level, since his appointment as a director of the firm. He therefore has in excess of 5 years’ experience in this industry sector.
