The merger of two dynamic accounting firms in 2003, Bush Kohlberg Inc and Van der Westhuizen Andersen Inc, saw the beginning of Moore South Africa. Chris Bush and Dale Kohlberg were amongst the founding partners instrumental in building a successful, growing practice in Cape Town.

Their joined forces successfully negotiated the South African rights to Moore and together with Moore in Johannesburg, were the first firms to practise under the Moore banner. Moore Cape Town is a significantly expanding tax, accounting and auditing practice with professionals, trainee accountants and support staff, servicing a wide array of industry sectors.
