Moore Monrovia started as Farhat Carew Inc., the result of a merger between D O Carew & Partners, in Sierra Leone and Morgan & Farhat, CPA in Liberia. The aim is to create a truly sub-regional professional accountancy, taxation, auditing and general consultancy corporation that can be relied on by our numerous clients. 

Morgan & Farhat, CPA was established in Liberia in the 1960s, specialising in Auditing, Accounting and Taxation and Consulting services. Among the firm’s clients were entrepreneurs, property investors, real estate developers, insurance companies, professional consultants, public corporations and not-for-profit entities. D O Carew & Partners, was, until the merger, a significant firm in Sierra Leone, providing auditing, taxation and advisory services to multinational, as well as local, businesses. The firm could boast of decades of high quality, professional financial management services to its numerous clients in virtually all industries, including mining, banking, insurance and manufacturing. 

The overarching drive to be truly sub-regional results in the coming together of two highly-placed professional firms to form an even bigger and better entity—Farhat Carew Inc.

On 22 February 2019 Farhat Carew Inc. joined the global network of Moore Stephens International and from 9 September 2019 practiced as Moore Monrovia
