Bio
Anton is a global leader passionate about harnessing the potential of people, especially in their leadership and being a force for good. He is the Global Chief Executive of Moore, one of the world’s leading accounting and consulting networks.
He was previously Chief Executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) for over ten years, leading its transformation. For seven of those years he was Chairman of the Global Accounting Alliance (GAA) of the world’s leading institutes, representing over one million accountants. Before this, he was Chief Executive of the Scottish Qualifications Authority and began his career as a teacher of Religious Education.
He is Chairman of the Executive Board of the Scottish Catholic Education Service, an International Board Member of Mary’s Meals, a Trustee of Columba 1400, and a member of the International Advisory Board of San Telmo Business School. He is an Honorary Professor of the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde.
He was a Trustee of the International Valuation Standards Council, a council member of the Confederation of British Industry Scotland (CBI), Chair of the Scottish Council of Independent Schools (SCIS), Chair of Salvesen Mindroom Centre, and Trustee of the Scottish International Education Trust.
