Mika Yamada-Yoshihara is a senior partner at Moore Shisei Tax Corporation, the Japanese member firm of Moore Global Network.She commenced her professional career with Seishin & Co in 1988, and became a partner in 1997, responsible for international tax and accounting matters. During the first several years with Seishin & Co., she had opportunities to visit Moore Stephens London, Melbourne, Detroit, and Hong Kong. Since 1988, her career growth has coincided with the firm’s internationalization. She also has a wide range of experience, from coordinating with lawyers to consultation on human resource matters to serving international clients by helping to provide business process outsourcing services based upon the international accounting standard and US GAAP in addition to the international tax consultation works. Now she heads up the international service department of the firm.She and her team worked for the tax and accounting services in relation to the Japan representative operation of US automotive manufactures and IT industries. During the engagement, she also dealt with the individual tax return filings for the expatriate staff members who were seconded from overseas affiliated companies.She has a Bachelor of Business Degree from Aoyama University and is a member of the Institute of Licensed Tax Accountants in Japan. She attended the Moore Stephens Harvard Executive Course in May, 2016.
