Moore Global, one of the world’s leading accountancy and advisory networks, has appointed Nick Ong-Seng as chair of its ethics committee to deliver a new strategy to further embed ethics into the heart of the network and its people.

Mr Ong-Seng, the first non-executive director of Moore Global who also serves as a member of the network’s Global Quality and Standards Board, said: “A strong ethics and governance strategy is the moral compass of any organisation. It is a great honour for me to accept this appointment and to assist Moore Global and its people in following this vital North Star.”

Mr Ong-Seng has vast international experience in ethics, governance and risk. He is currently Global Head of Governance, Risk and Assurance at Amazon and Chairman of the Quality Assurance Scheme Committee at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Nick has previously served as the Board Chairman of a FTSE Group Insurer, was a member of the senior leadership of the Financial Services Authority, and an ExCo member of the London Metal Exchange. He has worked extensively across global financial institutions as a Regional Managing Director for Bear Stearns and J.P. Morgan, and brings deep professional services expertise in consulting, legal services and accountancy from McKinsey, Accenture, DLA Piper and Haines Watts, where he served as Group Chief Risk Officer.
