Clive has overall responsibility for the firms strategic direction, client servicing and client relationships.

He has an honours degree in finance and accounting, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 after training with EY in Birmingham and became a Fellow of the Institute in 1992. After qualifying, he spent seven years in Bermuda initially with EY before joining Aon to take up the position of President and CEO of its Bermuda subsidiary.

Clive moved to the Isle of Man in 1989 to establish Moore Stephens, now one of the largest firms of Chartered Accountants in the Island. The firm has both Investor in People accreditation and ISO 9001 certification. It is also a full training office with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, a Platinum-accredited training office with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is closely involved with the Isle of Man Governments Micro Business Grant Scheme. In 2010 Moore Stephens Isle of Man was recognised by the Chief Minister of the Island as an Isle of Man Champion business.

Clive is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, The Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Directors. He was named Leading Private Client Advisor of the Year, Isle of Man, by the ACQ Global Awards 2016 and listed on Citywealth's 2019 Leaders List and was Citywealth IFC Awards 2020 Winner Outstanding Individual of the Year.
