Moore Kingston Smith is delighted to announce that Jeremy Horner will be joining the company as its first non-executive director.

In joining the firm’s Governance Board, the addition of Jeremy will support the continued development and growth of Moore Kingston Smith in line with best practice governance.

As a Chartered Accountant and an experienced non-executive director, Jeremy’s portfolio includes UK law firms TLT and Shoosmiths and patent and trade mark attorneys, Kilburn & Strode. Jeremy is a member of the Managing Partners Forum Advisory Board, an Appointments Panel Member for the Independent Press Standards Organisation, and a qualified business coach to senior leaders.

Jeremy’s career spans Deloitte (Touche Ross), Charterhouse Bank and chartered surveyors Davis Langdon. During his time as CFO and subsequently Chief Executive at Davis Langdon, the business grew through several acquisitions to become a $400 million USD worldwide operation, eventually acquired by NYSE listed AECOM, whereupon Jeremy was appointed global CEO of its Program, Cost & Consultancy businesses.

Jeremy said of his new position: “I am looking forward to working with Maureen and her colleagues at Moore Kingston Smith. The firm has demonstrated real ambition and agility, both in quickly becoming such an integral part of the Moore Global network and, despite lockdown, pursuing its growth strategy with the acquisition of Frank Hirth’s audit and accounting practice and the addition of several new partners. The senior leadership team is passionate about building the firm and its people, and I’m excited to be part of that.”

Maureen Penfold, Managing Partner of Moore Kingston Smith, commented: “Jeremy is a welcome addition to our team as a well-regarded industry figure who shares our commitment to helping clients thrive. His wide-ranging market experience and fresh perspective will be an asset to our Board. We are thrilled that he has chosen to join us.”
